Role Definition
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving sales for Herb Elementz Naturceuticals Pvt. Ltd. The BDE will play a key role in market expansion, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition, while ensuring targets are met through proper planning, execution, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
– Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
– Generate quality leads via cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients, distributors, and channel partners.
2. Sales Execution
– Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals.
– Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
– Follow up with leads to ensure consistent communication and conversion.
3. Market & Competitor Analysis
– Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and customer preferences.
– Provide insights and recommendations for business growth and product positioning.
4. Reporting & Documentation
– Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and lead status using CRM tools or Excel.
– Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance and business development activities.
– Ensure all proposals, agreements, and deals are properly documented and communicated to internal teams.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
– Coordinate with marketing, operations, and product development teams for campaign execution, lead nurturing, and feedback sharing.
– Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events as required.
Skills & Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
– 1–3 years of experience in Sales / Business Development (preferably in the FMCG, Beauty, Healthcare, or Pharma industry)
– Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
– Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
– Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is a plus
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Fluent in English and Hindi; additional regional language is a plus
